Built on years of experience producing melters for a wide range of special glasses, Fives has developed a range of advanced melting options to accommodate the needs of new, large-scale glasses now being produced.
Supported by batch melting analysis and CFD modelling, this new generation of melters can be tailored to the output and quality requirements of the process.
The melting process actually comprises a number of important time and temperature dependent steps from primary melting to final refining of the glass. By carefully making sure that, for each phase of the process, all the glass is at the right temperature for the right period of time, we can ensure that the final glass produced is of the quality required.

As a data processor, FIVES implements personal data processing when managing your contact request. The data collected are required for this processing and are retained, unless you object, for a period of 6 months from the last contact between you and FIVES. If the information is incomplete, FIVES will not be able to respond to your contact.
